Beautiful beaches and tropical islands within 2 hours of Rio de Janeiro. Although it is not on the gringo tourist trail, there are plenty of Cariocas who want to get out of the city. Buzios for the Carioca who is not loaded. Probably even more crowded and lively. But not glamarous and chic. All the entertainment you might expect from a sea-side resort is there, but the most popular activity is strolling along the boulevard. | The access point for Ita?nas. It also has a beach and various pousadas. But misses Ita?nas end of the world feeling. It?s easy to make a day trip to Ita?nas, although there are only a couple of busses a day, but I would prefer staying in Ita?nas. | ||||||
